    I visited Americade again this year. The village? They are just about ripping folks off! I enjoy the visit but the parking fees have made me reconsider next time. Poorly marked fee-for-parking area's all over the place. Folks ticketed for not realizing this. Free parking? As long as you are OK in the mud! I paid the $ 2.00 an hour to park, just to have the opportunity to spend more money in the village. Village officials: make the parking reasonable and stop upsetting the people you need to support your village. You are killing the goose that laid the golden egg!
